8:15 Class: Mrs. Nylander and Mrs. Barsch

Half way through February already…wow! The students have really been working very hard. We have seen wonderful growth in our classroom, from students choosing work independently, to teaching one another.
Our 3 day students are continuing to work on their 5 senses. They just finished up the sense of hearing and next week they will be tackling the sense of touch! Our 5 day students are working through the continents…very exciting stuff! They are currently studying Antarctica, learning about scientists, penguins and much much more!

The kindergartners are working so very hard. We are currently studying Europe. We are also learning and understanding double digit addition and subtraction, continuing to practice reading an analog clock, and reading reading reading!

There is always a lot happening at Children’s House as you can see! This is just the tip of the iceberg. If you do have any questions, please let us know or if you ever want to come in for a few hours, we would be glad to have you!

8:30 Class: Mrs. Pappel and Mrs. Bollock

We are having so much fun! The 3 day students are into their “senses”: Hearing, Seeing, Smelling, Feeling and Tasting. Each day is a new Sensation!

The Five day students are learning the seven Continents. Ask them to sing the song! “Tell me the Continents”  and the animals that are found in each continent.  We are happy to have Miss Paige helping in our school. She is a student teacher from Black Hills State.

We look forward to signing and music each week and gym class every other Tuesday. Every day is a learning day at Children’s House
