Offered Wednesdays after school! For students in 1st - 6th grades.
One session:

6 weeks of climbing classes on Wednesdays and access to the gym the rest of the week to come climb on your own! Our experienced coaches will teach skills and lead games to get your climber moving! For ages 6-12. Transportation from school to Basecamp included. Cost is $249

After School Violin Pod
Beginner:
Children's House Montessori is pleased to once again offer a beginner violin pod this fall! Students will learn the parts and care of the violin, proper playing technique, and 2-3 songs. The final class will conclude with a short "concert" that includes students playing together in harmony. It's open to any lower or upper elementary student that is interested, no experience required. Violins will be provided if students are signed up by Sept. 11th.
Classes will be held on Thursdays from 2:30-3:00 at the elementary campus beginning Sept. 25th and ending Nov. 20th. Another session will be available beginning January 2026 for students who are interested in continuing, with the goal of earning their black belts in "violin karate" and being able to integrate into the intermediate violin group in time for the spring performance.

Intermediate:
Returning string students will meet from 3:15-4:00 on Thursdays from Sept. 25th to Dec. 18th. Our goal this year is to continue learning to play together, transitioning from beginner pieces to more famous and familiar ones. We already have a great one waiting for us to learn it in time for the winter concert! As we expand our repertoire, students will be learning to read music, sharpen their pitch perception, and improve their technique. The total cost for the fall session is $150, which can be split into 3 monthly payments if desired.
